Halloween is just around the corner! Are you going to dress in a costume and go trick or treating?
The bakery I work part-time started selling special halloween pie. Hear is the photo of it. Isn't it cute?

If you like pumpkin, I recomend you to buy this pie. Inside of this pie is pumpkin. It tastes really good and I like it!
In Japan, few people celebrate Halloween. It is only an event especially for the mercantile agencies. Snack makers produce limited version flavor snacks, householdgoods stores display jack-o'-lanterns and stuffed black cats and amusement park like Tokyo Disney Land assumed a different appearance.
I don't like using a lot of money to these things because it seems that I'm brainwashed into, but I am attracted by the smiling face of this pie : )
Bye.

Happy halloween!
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin pies look cute and delicious! By the way I want to have a halloween party and go aroud collecting sweets :)

Kazusa,
ReplyDeleteBe careful - you wrote "hear" above when you mean "here." And you don't say "use money" - it is "spend money"!
Part of our family tradition on Halloween in my family in Canada is to carve out a pumpkin and make a jack-o'-lantern. It is hard work scooping out the insides, but it is fun to carve a face and then light a candle inside. We used to wash up some of the pumpkin seeds and roast them with salt and oil in the oven and eat them as a snack. Now I am too lazy and I don't even make a jack-o-lantern. However, I sometimes buy a few mini pumpkins and squashes and set them in the living room.
Planning on doing anything fun for Hallowe'en? I say go for the pie! I would love one too. Trick or treat!
